This is my first time eating here. This restaurant is popular. So sometimes it is busy. So keep that in mind. I ordered the cajun jambalaya off the lunch menu. The jambalaya was pretty good. The Jumba comes with a roll and sweet tea. There is plenty of parking and street parking. The restaurant is kept clean. The bathroom is also kept up. As it goes for the staff. Everyone is friendly. This place is absolutely incredible! The fried gator bites were a great appetizer. Best gator I've ever had. I had the meal that combined red beans and rice over jambalaya and it was incredible! My wife had the seafood nachos (recommended by our server, Rachel who was outstanding!) My son had the chicken and sausage jambalaya. My daughter had Audrey's Cajun Pasta with Shrimp. All of us were extremely happy with our meals. I couldn't recommend this place enough! I'd give infinite stars if I could!
We were a party of four. One of us ordered the fried prickles and fried green tomatoes as appetizers for the group, I ordered the fried alligator bites as my meal, and three of us shared the seafood platter. Everything was amazing. Nothing was too greasy or soggy. We even had enough seafood platter leftover to take home (take into consideration the appetizers eaten). As a true Louisianan, I can say this is authentic Louisiana food. Also, The atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful. I will definitely be back.

We went for our 37th wedding anniversary and had the best dinner. We ordered the Super Seafood Platter, and because it was so huge, we came home with half of it! Our server, staff,and cooks are absolutely perfect. For a Tuesday night, the cafe was very busy.
I had the Catfish Chelsea. It was marvelous. A fried catfish fillet covered with crawfish etoufee.
Cafe New Orleans is consistently great food with great service! Marinated ribeye steak with fried shrimp meal was delicious. Key lime pie is delicious too.
